Once the properties hit their set sales target, they\u2019ll be able to unlock a <\/span><b>30% commission discount <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on their exceeded room nights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>How the commission discount works<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Properties get 30% of their commission back (e.g. 15% -&gt; 10% commission rate) for any extra stayed room nights sold over their personal sales target between <\/span><b>16 December 2022 and 16 April 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The travel industry has been hit hard by COVID-19 and while we\u2019re seeing demand returning, it\u2019s not over yet. Each property is offered one of the below opt-in criteria based on their market to help them <\/span><b>reach their target and unlock the commission discount offer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> faster:<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Set up a mobile rate<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More than 60% of Booking.com guest searches and bookings are made on smartphones and properties that implement a mobile rate receive 28% more bookings from mobile devices on average.
