HotelRunner attended the EMITT Exhibition!

Providing cloud-based computing solutions for companies engaged in the accommodation industry, HotelRunner attended the 18th Annual EMITT Exhibition organized in Tüyap between January 30 and February 2. As one of the biggest tourism exhibitions in the world, EMITT has hosted around 4500 participants from across 70 countries. The fair drew significant attention from numerous companies ranging from large hotel chains to travel agencies and online tour operators, which are all part of the tourism industry.

At our stand located at Hall 3, we focused on introducing the features of the HotelRunner platform to our guests and our contributions in increasing the competitive edge of companies within the industry. Throughout the exhibition, we wanted to show myriad companies and entrepreneurs the benefits of running their tourism activities on the Internet.

Online booking and sales have become the essentials of this industry. So, we tried to portray how HotelRunner fills such a huge gap in our country and in the world, while demonstrating the features of HotelRunner to our visitors within the demo area.

In the tourism industry, new generation applications require full integration with the virtual world. It is critical for today’s properties to make the most of these platforms that offer brand new promotional and sales opportunities for property owners. The number of overnight rooms booked through the HotelRunner platform reached up to 1,9 million in 2013, which is a significant figure highlighting this great potential. We are happy that we have had the chance to enlighten more investors and properties at the EMITT exhibition regarding our efforts to raise this awareness.
